Here's MO picking our first homegrown artichoke - which was promptly steamed and served with lemon and butter for dipping. Yum! What's your favorite artichoke preparation?
I'm sort of a vegetarian...who eats eggs, dairy, and seafood. I've also been known to sample local specialties such as road-side meat sandwiches, goat, and even crickets. I think one of the best ways to dive into a culture is to taste its foods. Mostly, though, I love delicious food made with fresh local ingredients and I started this blog to share stories, recipes and ideas. Enjoy!
